| Avenged Sevenfold is one of the most innovative and creative rock bands to form in the last 10 years.
The only glaring problem they have had is the fact that they are now on their fourth bassist since their creation. In contrast, what makes their music incredible, is the fact that they have maintained their lead vocalist, drummer and guitarist since 2000. Led by their vocalist, Matthew
Sanders; drummer, The Rev; rhythm guitarist, Zacky Vengeance; and lead guitarist Synyster Gates; the band soared to stardom with the creation of their first gold-album, City of Evil.

10. Scream - Avenged Sevenfold (2007)
This song, at least to me, does not have the most obvious or heartfelt meaning. But, it does acknowledge that at one point or another, everybody just wants to let it out and "SCREAM" to relieve stress and such. But, what really gets me with this song, is the incredible guitar solo.
9. A Little Piece of Heaven - Avenged Sevenfold (2007)
This is about a man who is too envious of his girlfriend, and so afraid to lose her that he kills her so nobody else can have her. He keeps her body as a trophy, and eventually she returns and kills him. From there on, they spend eternity trying to forgive and make it up to each other.
8. Beast and the Harlot - City of Evil (2005)
The meaning of this song is far beyond my head, that I'm not really sure what to tell you. However, if you would like to get an in-depth review and meaning of this song, I am positive that someone must offer it on google. But, the instrumental play in this song probably ranks among the best in any of their songs.
7. Critical Acclaim - Avenged Sevenfold (2007)
"Critical Acclaim" has to do with the politics in America and how people who do not even put their lives at risk, and just stay behind the lines and spectate believe that they have the right to criticize those who do. This is one of the more "screamo" songs from Avenged Sevenfold in their new CD, but it's a good listen.
6. Almost Easy - Avenged Sevenfold (2007)
This "A7x" song deals with a fairly common issue that a lot of people have to go through these days. Unfortunate, but true. And this is the fact that almost everybody, sooner or later, has to deal with the loss of someone they love. Also the fact that it is "Almost Easy" to come back,
although the person may be afraid of getting hurt again, or deceased and unable to return.
5. Unholy Confessions - Waking the Fallen (2003)
This song explains the issue of love, and how it usually does not last (since nothing in this lifetime ever does). Avenged Sevenfold explains the issue of people creating this fake image of love, and how it spoils a persons lifetime, because everything comes to an end in a persons' lifetime, and almost everything is left unfinished.
Avenged Sevenfold expresses deep meaning, and a medley of incredible instrument play. The only issue I have with it, is the "screamo" part at parts in the song which a little too hardcore for my taste.
4. Bat Country - City of Evil (2005)
This song is a tribute to the late author, Hunter Thompson, in which Avenged Sevenfold were big fans of. The lyrics, "my hand is on the trigger, I'm ready to ignite" refers to Thompson's suicide. They also used some of Thompson's lyrics in this song, and referred to his drug use.
3. Seize the Day - City of Evil (2005)
Now, Seize the Day has one of the most intense meanings. The message being conveyed has to do with the fact that life is short, and could end at any moment, so you should live your life to the fullest every moment.
This is a kind of change of pace Avenged Sevenfold song, at least in my opinion, and although not the intense instrument play, it has the meaning behind it which sets it apart from the rest.
2. Chapter Four - Waking the Fallen (2003)
Chapter Four displays supreme drum play at the beginning of the song which sets the tone throughout. Song is great for making covers, getting pumped up for a sporting event, or just relaxing to and listening.
1. Afterlife - Avenged Sevenfold (2007)
From the sound of the song, I believe it to be about someone who had died, possibly from drug overdose or something along those lines, and is asking for another chance at life. Afterlife displays incredible instrument play, great vocals, and a great meaning. Best song on their newest album, and possibly their best created.

Gli Avenged Sevenfold sono una delle più innovative e creative band rock degli ultimi 10 anni.
Poi dice che l'unico problema della band è che sono al 4 bassista però il vocalist,i chitarristi ed il batterista sono gli stessi dalla loro creazione (e penso non ci sia bisogno di dirvi chi sono xD).Sono diventati famosi grazie a City Of Evil

In poche parole il tizio non ha capito il senso della canzone.Letteralmente dice che la canzone va oltre la sua testa e non sa cosa dirci xD Però probabilmente questa è una delle migliori canzoni Avengedose
7. Critical Acclaim - Avenged Sevenfold (2007)
Dice che in Critical ha a che fare con la politica americana e con tutte quelle persone che sono pronte a criticare stando dietro le linee e non mettendo in pericolo la loro vita.La canzone è molto screammata però è ascoltabile o orecchiabile come volete

Qui dice che in questa canzone si parla di un problema molto comune,cioè la perdita di qualcuno che si ama

Questa canzone è un tributo a Hunter Thompson di cui i ragazzi sono stati grandi fan.Il testo "my hand is on the trigger, I'm ready to ignite" fa riferimento al suicidio di Thompson.Nel testo vengono usati pezzi di testi di questo Thompson e fanno riferimento anche al suo uso di stupefacenti

In questo brano viene trasmesso il messaggio che la vita è breve e potrebbe finire in qualsiasi momento e proprio per questo motivo bisogna viverla sempre al massimo in ogni momento.C'è un cambiamento nella musicalità di questa canzone e ciò che la distingue non è il ritmo ma il suo significato

Il tizio esalta il suono del Rev all'inizio e per tutto il resto della canzone e la consiglia per un evento sportivo o semplicemente per rilassarsi e per ascoltare

Credo che la canzone sia stata scritta per qualcuno morto di overdose o qualcosa di simile.Mi piace il "gioco" degli strumenti,la voce ed il significato.Migliore canzone dell'ultimo album e forse la migliore canzone creata o meglio scritta
